stashed loooong ago by a jewelry dealer who is now 78 years old, and is admitting he bought some of the best of the best decades ago and then didn't sell or wear it. this chain hasn't been worn in a very long time, which is a shame since it's such a significant, chunky, heavy artisan chain. 

made in Mexico, and it has all of the characteristics of a hefty Mexican sterling silver chain and the clasp is a bold, stylish part of the chain, rather than a functional addition. would you wear it on the side? in the front? have it engraved with initials, a word, or an image?
